I have sooo much fabric from my wedding, I mean loooads of it and I am slowly getting around to using it and incorporating some of it into my home decor....I needed something for my mantel above my fireplace and of course to go buy something that I like, sounds more ideal to me, but I had no budget and motivation to shop, so I thought I'd go look in our basement. I discovered this awesome old window that Zach's been keeping since before we got married (totally random too, I mean it's a window!) I stuck some of that wedding fabric behind the glass and put the window on my mantel and I LOVE it!!! It's seriously my new FAV piece of art in the house and it was FREE........thankful for creativity!

Ok, so I have been experimenting with food quite a lot. Some recipes have been successful and some....not so much. Here are a few that I've tried. If anyone wants the recipe...ask mom. :)

These yummies are Pelemene (russian and delicious!)

Pot Roast..I forgot to take photos while I was making it. Woops. BUT it was  AMAZING .  

And of course some Chocolate Covered Strawberries, a million times cheaper to make than to buy them made. It is SO easy and fast!

Sweet Little Bundle of Joy

This deserves a post of its own... on December 21st at 9:19pm est, my dear sister gave birth to sweet little Lydia Laurel-Noelle Krick! Weighing in at 7lb 7oz, she came into this world as the most beautiful and precious baby girl...EVER! I am soooo thrilled and excited for my sister and her hubby as they embark a totally new and different chapter in their lives...parenthood. hehe. I can't wait to meet my pretty little niece in just a couple of weeks. :)
