Turning old things into new..

I feel like I've been on a painting streak. I have spray painted anything I can find to make it look better than it does and still have a few more ideas in mind. So far, I have tackled a few pressing projects in my living room. I have yet to do something for the dining, bedroom and guest room/bath, maybe the kitchen too. hah. I'm just at a point where I feel that I have so many things and craft-like supplies that I can make my own art for the home without spending a dime...well except for some on a little paint, but it has been super cheap lately...just takes more of an effort to do it, I suppose, but being a new mama and new beast owner...errr...I mean dog owner..I haven't found much time for crafts. Except, of course, when Auntie Hailey comes to play with the baby. Then, I have ALL THE TIME IN THE WORLD!!! {Love you Hay!} Ok. So. I have a collection of bottles and jars...alright more of an obsession. I have saved SO many that.. it's kind of ridiculous. I have now vowed to not save any more until I have used and found a place for all the ones that I do have. With that said...

I had some shelves I really needed to do something with or get rid of. I tried a few colors...didn't really get what I was looking for..so I went with classic black and they turned out FAB!

Next, I painted my old frames from black and brown to white and grey. Pretty easy.

And of course..I had a few bottles and got some color on those..forgot to take a photo though!
I've had this window with fabric behind it for a while now...cleaned it up, repainted, and re-glued the pattern so it wasn't flimsy.

The final product:
minus the ugly peach wall color that I won't paint since it's only a rental and I don't want to paint it back when we move. :)
